Maurice the mouse and cats Vincent and Cleopatra journey from St. Petersburg to Egypt, where they befriend locals, explore pyramids, and search ancient tombs for a legendary genie said to grant one wish every millennium. The trio discovers a mysterious papyrus map and races to uncover its secrets.
Cindy says
This sequel trades St. Petersburg's charm for Egyptian spectacle, and while the premise has genuine appeal, the execution feels like a paint-by-numbers adventure—pretty visuals can't quite mask the thin plotting and predictable beats of a story we've seen a dozen times before.
