The Adventures of Odysseus
Odisėjo nuotykiai
Valentas Aškinis · 1998
Animation · History · 107min · LT
Odysseus embarks on a perilous journey home after the Trojan War, facing mythical creatures and divine obstacles across magical islands. This animated adaptation of Homer's epic explores themes of heroism, loyalty, and the costs of adventure.
Cindy says
This Lithuanian animator takes on Homer's epic with ambition that sometimes outpaces execution. The hand-drawn visuals have charm, but the 107-minute runtime struggles to capture the Odyssey's sprawling mythology without feeling scattered. Worth it for animation buffs curious about Eastern European takes on classics.
