In 1970s Detroit, John Miller is imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit after falling for a gangster's girlfriend. Determined to reclaim his life, he orchestrates revenge against the man who framed him.
Cindy says
Potsy Ponciroli delivers a gritty 70s revenge thriller that doesn't break new ground, but Ritchson brings genuine menace to a stock-issue wronged-man setup. The Detroit setting and period detail carry weight, though the script occasionally slides into predictable crime-drama clichés. Solid craft, uneven payoff.
